  • Because of the highly detailed and individualized nature of each event we do, it is impossible to understand how to price your menu without understanding more about your needs. We are always upfront with pricing once we have all of the details and all costs are known well in advance and made clear in your contract.

    We frequently cater events taking place outside of Tallahassee. If your gathering is taking place in North Florida, Florida Panhandle, or South Georgia, please contact us directly to see how we can be of assistance to you.

    Yes! Klassic Katering is fully licensed by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and inspections of our commercial kitchen are done quarterly. All of our licensing and inspection information can be found at In addition, we hold a liability policy that exceeds the requirements for all venues and caterers.

    Certain diets like kosher-style, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other restrictions are major concerns for some guests and their hosts. We are experienced in creating menus that not only taste good, but also accommodate any of your dietary needs.

    Many of our brides return home to get married and plan their weddings from a distance. We are more than happy to communicate with you via phone or email in order to ensure that the perfect menu is created and executed to your standards. We are also pleased to speak with local family members or friends who serve as a representative of the couple, which helps to put your mind at ease. In addition, we can assist with securing your rental items, bar services, and providing you with recommendations for whatever services you need.

    Tastings are always available to our prospective and booked clients. They occur after we have met with you to discuss your catering needs. If done prior to booking your event with us, there is a nominal charge to taste items you are interested in. For booked clients, tastings of your approved menu items are complimentary.

    Every event and location will have it’s challenges, so we find generic staffing formulas do not work. Based on what we learn about your location, menu and budget will determine how many staff members you will need. Our staff members are always appropriately dressed depending upon the event. We have two uniforms which are black dress pants, black shoes, a black long sleeve button down shirt, a black and silver tie, and a black Klassic Katering apron or black dress pants, black shoes, and a black embroidered Klassic Katering t-shirt. Our staff will be ressed in either of the above uniforms unless otherwise specified.

    We offer everything from casual boxed lunches to formal black-tie, full-service events. We are glad to assist you in finding an event style to fit your budget. However, we do have some non-negotiable standards. If we are staffing your event, we will not understaff it. We will not under portion. Nothing is worse than running out of food. We will not use low quality cheap food ingredients. Other than that, you control nearly every cost variable include the caliber of the linens, the length of the event, the types of beverages at the bar and of course, the menu.

    Many times, there will be leftover foods after the event. We will be glad to leave home-sized portions on request as long as the food has been held at the correct safe zone temperatures and proper storage is provided by the client and immediately available. If there is any doubt about food safety, the food will be thrown away.

    Absolutely! Klassic Katering is licensed and insured to serve liquor, beer, and wine. Our professional bartenders are here to shake up whatever your guests desire.
